Center Activities
The aim of the Center's activities is to deepen our understanding of Sathya Sai Baba's teachings, elevate our spiritual awareness, and assist us in undertaking the spiritual practice that is essential to reaching this goal. Our Center programs consists of Service to Others, Study Circle, Devotional Singing, Prayers and Meditation.

Sai Center Activities are Open to All
Richmond Sai Center meets weekly on Sundays at the Hindu Center of Virginia- Basement (Address: 6051 Springfield Road, Glen Allen, VA 23060) for Bhajans, Study Circle, and Balvikas (SSE).
Timings: Sundays 9:30am-12:00noon
9:30-10:00am Bhajan Practice/Warmup
10:00-10:45am Study Circle
10:55-12:00pm Bhajans/Devotional Singing

Welcome to the website for the Sathya Sai Center of Richmond, VA.
In 1995, this Center started with just a few families devoted to following the principals of Sai. Today we have many families from many walks of life.
Our Center, as all Sathya Sai Centers, foster and support their members in leading more loving, disciplined, spiritual lives by providing an environment where they can assemble, learn, practice and exemplify the Divine Teachings of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The members of Sathya Sai Baba Centers are united by a common bond--love of God--and a common goal--spiritual growth. Sai Center activities include group study of Sathya Sai Baba's teachings, devotional singing, meditation, education, and service to the community, society, the world, and the environment.
Sai Center membership includes people from all walks of life and the Center's programs are compatible with all the major religions. Sathya Sai Baba says He has come for all mankind and not for any particular community, religion, country or interest. His teachings are universal and not sectarian, attracting seekers from all faiths and nationalities. An individual may join our Center after becoming familiar with its purpose and agreeing to abide by the guidelines under which the Center functions.
Sathya Sai Baba urges His Centers to have as little to do with money as possible. Sai Centers may not incorporate or create a foundation for any reason. There is never a fee for membership in a Sai Center, donations are never solicited, members are never required to purchase books or material. Center activities and projects are run on voluntary, anonymous contributions from the members.
The inspiration of Sathya Sai Baba's example and message of unselfish love and service has resulted in the establishment of Sathya Sai Baba Centers in 178 countries throughout the world. From I-95 (North or South) take I 295 towards Charlottesville, take the US 33 East Exit (towards Richmond). At the first traffic light, make a right turn onto Springfield Road. The Hindu Center is on the left within about a quarter of a mile at 6051 Springfield Road, Glen Allen, VA 23060. Phone: (804) 346 9954.
From 64 East or West (Charlottesville) take I295 towards Washington DC, take the US 33 East Exit (towards Richmond). At the first traffic light, make a right turn onto Springfield Road. The Hindu Center is on the left within about a quarter of a mile at 6051 Springfield Road.
